I'm looking for ancestors and siblings of Dr. Samuel Blair Cunninghamof Jonesborough. His parents probably were John Blair and MarthaLaird Blair of Washington Co. His confirmed sibling was Rev. JohnWhitfield Cunningham who was minister of the Presbyterian church inJonesborough during the 1840s & 50s and later moved to Naperville,Ill. Dr. S.B. Cunningham practiced medicine in Jonesborough for manyyears until his death in 1867. His daughter, Martha Ellen, marriedDr. William Robertson Sevier. Our family is descended from theironly living offspring, Nannie Leila Sevier (Sabin). SamuelCunningham may have had other children by his first wife, LucindaGalbraith: Sarah Jane and Samuel Alexander. All children by hissecond wife died young. Can anyone give me information on SamuelBlair Cunningham? Blair and McLin family history is contradictory.

MCCOY, LEWIS

Looking for the parents of William H McCOY married to Susannah LEWIS.In the 1840 census there is a John McCoy, revolutionary soldierresiding in the household. I have his pension papers but does notname wife or children. William H died between 1850 and 1853. In1853, Susannah took her children and moved to Howard County, IN. HENDERSON

William Henderson obtained a grant for about 400 acres on Holley'sCreek, located about 2 miles southeast of Greenville, TN in 1783.Perhaps he lived there until 1801. I would be very pleased toexchange information with anyone who has information about this man.He may have died about 1800-1801, because there was a Probate Hearingin Sevier County TN in 1801 that mentions this same land in GreeneCounty, TN.
