grandfather being John Davison b. 3/18/1923 in Cookeville. His
parents were Jeff Davidson b. 11/24/1874. and Miranda or Rohnda
Vickes b. 3/29/1889 d.7/6/1966 and buried in Crest Lawn cem.
Maternal grandparents names are Fate Vickers and Vine Herren

- Has anyone heard of Rhuhama or Rhuhaney Phillips 1830-1897
who married J.D. Warren 1833-1916 of Overton County, TN? They
are buried in Wayne County, MO. Rhuhama is my great-great
grandmother. They were on a wagon train from Overton County, TN
going to Noel, MO when several people got sick with "Plains
Fever" and died. I am looking for her siblings and parents or
anyone connected to this family. Rhuhama and J.D. are listed in
the 1860 Putman County, TN census. Any information would really

Russell in year(?)Josie Lee b.1896-d.1982. Their children were:

County near the county line as he died in the 1930's(April 6).
Around 1940 the family moved to Nashville where their children

MONTEREY
COAL MINE
- Does anyone have any info on the Clinchfield Coal Com., had
a coal mine about 2 miles east of Monterey? Would like to find
pictures, and any history of the mine. This would mean a lot to
my husband, his father was killed in the mine in 1958 and he
has no info! We do know that the mine was open until mid 60's.

- I am interested in any information available concerning
Luther Martin FREEMAN and his wife Ethel MADDUX. They had two
children: Robert Stanton FREEMAN who died 9 February 1968 and
Eliza THOMPSON who died in April, 1984. Family members are
buried in the family plot which I believe was the MADDUX
homeplace. I especially would like to know what has happened to

Elizabeth COLE b. abt 1821. Need parents for both. Their
daughter Mary Ann CHOATE b. 1841 d. 1926 in Putnam Co. m. John
A. Quarles b. 1824 d. 1880. Family historian believes Mary
often sold off land to keep a "black sheep" son from jail. This
land may have come through native american indian connection.

FORTNER, also might be FAULKNER. When David Henry married her
she had a young son that became known as Henry Faulkner(JR).
(JR) was born in Bull run, Putnam County, Tenn. He married
