MCCALIP

Joseph McCalip had at least three children in Tennessee before his wife died and he moved to Illinois. He was supposed to have lived in Putnam County. His children were Nellie, William and John. Does anyone know anything about this family? His wife died in 1851 when Nellie was 3 years old. The boys apparently were older.

PHY, TERRY, KUYKENDALL, LOVELADY

My ancestor, Aquilla PHY, was born in 1805 in TN along with some of his children (last one b. 1836). I have found no records for them. In 1850 they appeared on the Platte Co., MO federal census. Their neighbors in Platte Co. were: TERRY, KUYKENDALL, LOVELADY and others that were originally from White and Putnam Cos., TN. Does anyone have information on these people or other families that migrated to MO in the 1830s and 40s?

CRAWLEY/CROWLEY, MARTIN,

Looking for information on James Crawley/Crowley and wife Anna/Anania Martin. They are on the 1850 Tennessee Census. I know they moved to Washington Co., Arkansas and James died there while Anna and some of the family returned to Tennessee. I have information on their son Wm. S. Crawley in Washington Co., Ark. and also Solomon Robinson/Robertson Crawley/Crowley. Both of the brothers married Burgess sisters. Solomon was my Great Grandfather and later moved to Butler Co., Kansas from Tennessee with his family. Any information on James and Anna's parents or their other children would be of great help. They were born about 1799.
