 Charles Vigle Johnson
age 98 who lives in Arizona.  He is the oldest of our Powell family.  He lives in an assisted living facility in Phoenix.  His son Larry and Larry's wife Sondra live in Cave Creek, Arizona.   Picture #14 shows him sitting in front of his "office equipment" that he uses to send letters periodically to some 30 or so people.  He still does his own typing.  He recently received a 50-year certificate and pin in honor of his loyal and faithful years of membership in the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers).                                 >>>>>

>>>>>The certificate covers the years 1954-2004.  His membership extends from 1954 to the present time.  He retired from his position as electrician with the Cincinnati Public School System on January 1, 1971.  His job there involved going around to any and all of the schools in the district taking care of whatever kind of electrical problem they might be having.   He was extremely well liked by the school people since he did his best to make life easy for them.
