Sophia Griffith Sexton was the daughter of Andrew and Lucy Sexton Griffith--she's also a great-granddaughter of Timothy Sexton, Sr.WILLIAM 'WILEY' RICH & WIFE MARY 'POLLY' NEWPORT RICH:
According to what I've been told Wiley was one of the first elected commissioners of Scott County after it was formed. Wiley lived 1826 to sometime after 1880; and Polly lived from about 1830 to sometime after 1880.
