FENTON GRANT WASHINGTON BROWN, first husband of Martha Potter Brown Howard. He was the first person buried at Potter Cemetery. Died between 1892 and 1898. Father of Rudolph Brown.

Great Grandmother MARY JANE PEMBERTON OWENS. She was one of George W. Pemberton's 21 children. Selva Phoebe Gregory Pemberton (first wife of George W. Pemberton), was her Mother. Mary Jane Pemberton was married to Rev. George W. Owens, my great Grandfather. Would dearly appreciate a photo of her. I have one of her husband if anyone needs it, I would be glad to share it.

Judah was born in Morgan County about 1836..  She was the daughter of Joseph Hicks.. He is supposed to have been an Indian that escaped the trail of tears and took on the HICKS name.. 
I believe he may be buried in Solomon Hollow in Coalfield..Any help appreciated.

He was in The Revolutionary War and drew a pension in Roane Co, TN.  He was born in Balitmore County Maryland July 13, 1760 and died in Roane County, TN near Enon Creek, Wade Settlement. Looking for photos or pension records..

daughter of Thomas and Elender Stonecipher and wife of Jesse T. Brown. I know this might be almost impossible since she died in 1882 and I have no idea where she is buried.

HIRAM SEXTON & SOPHIA GRIFFITH SEXTON: 
Hiram is the son of William and Rhoda Griffith Sexton and grandson of Timothy Sexton, Sr. He died as a Confederate POW in Belle Isle, VA and his body was not returned. Sophia Griffith Sexton was the daughter of Andrew and Lucy Sexton Griffith--she's also a great-granddaughter of Timothy Sexton, Sr.

WILLIAM 'WILEY' RICH & WIFE MARY 'POLLY' NEWPORT RICH:
According to what I've been told Wiley was one of the first elected commissioners of Scott County after it was formed. Wiley lived 1826 to sometime after 1880; and Polly lived from about 1830 to sometime after 1880.

Benjamin died in 1919 in Morgan County.

I have photos of Sebastine, but none of her as a young woman, and none of her parents or brothers and sisters.  They were long time Morgan County residents.  Sebastine (my grandmother) married George Frank Colston in Morgan County sometime between 1903-1907.
