JOHN CARROLL


 

John Carroll born June 6, 1830 (Leitrim Ireland) died May 25, 1896 (Confederate Soldiers Home) He joined the 14 th at Clarksville and served with the 10th infantry Sons of Erin at Nashville. He was wounded twice & captured twice. He is buried in Confederate Soldiers Cemetery grave # 28 by Hermitage Plantation. He survived the Potato Famine and came to America in 1847.
