Hugh Cato Hughes

ERIN—Hugh Cato Hughes, 56. Route 2, Erin, died Thursday at Trinity Hospital after an extended illness.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Nave Erin Chapel with the Rev. Herman Adams officiat­ing. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 11, 1925, in Houston County. the son of Edna Brooks Hughes of Erin and the late William A. Hughes.

Mr. Hughes was a carpenter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by: two sons, Robert C. Hughes, Erin, and Ruben A. Hughes, Mt. Vernon, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Beavers and Mrs. Gail Hughes, both of Cave In Rock, Ill.; a brother, William Lee Hughes, Erin; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Morris, Erin, and Mrs. Pearl Warren, Taylor, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Clemon Nor­ris, Carter Warren Jr., Terry War­ren, Donnie Baker, Glen Breeden and Clarence Baldwin.
