Paul Hughes

Paul Bryant Hughes 82, Erin, died Tuesday. July 8. 1986 , at the residence after a brief illness.

The funeral will be at 2 pm today at Nave Funeral Home, Erin, with the Rev. J. C. Greenwell officiating.  Burial will be at Cedar Hills Cemetery.  Visitation will be until the hour of the service

Hughes was born in Houston County on Dec 21,1903, the son of Billy and Sally Keel Hughes

He was retired from the Houston County Highway Department.  His wife, Ona Christine Hughes, died apr. 29,1978.

Survivors include a son, Billy J. Hughes, Erin; three daughters, Mrs. Larry Patterson. McEwen. Mrs Stile Eads, Ashland City and Mrs. Rodney Lowe. Erin;  seven grand children and one great grandchild.

 Pallbearers well be Carrot Lyle,. Truman Hughes, Earl Lowe, Austin Hargrove, Jim Walker and Elbert McCord.
