Mark Hughes

May 15, 1982

 

Funeral services for Mark Lee Hughes, 83, were conducted May 16 at 4 p.m. at the Nave Erin Chapel with the Rev. Robert Mitchell offici­ating. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cem­etery.

<>Mr. Hughes, a resident of Route 1, Erin, died Saturday at Trinity Hospi­tal after a brief illness.  <>

A native of Houston County, he was born April 2, 1899, son of the late Billy Hughes and Sallie Keel Hughes. His wife, Vallie Rye Hughes, preceded him in death.

He is survived by a daughter, Je­well Marakis, Nashville; a brother, Paul B. Hughes, Erin; and two grandchildren.
