       Mrs. Ruth A. Hodges, 62. died at 9:30 p.m. in Parkview Hospital. Nashville, following a, sudden illness. She was a resident of 334 Conroy Ave.. and was secretary and treasurer of Byers and Harvey: Realtors.
        Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Tarpley's Chapel by the Rev. Clyde Brake. Burial will be in Greenwood.
       Mrs. Hodges was born in Montgomery County Dec. 17, 1912, daughter of the late John I. and Terra Haney Allen. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.  She was a member of the women's council of Realtors and a past member of the Altrusa Club, Clarksville Credit Women's International and International Toast Mistress Club.
       Survivors are her husband. Burney E. Hodges, whom she married June 20, 1930: one daughter. Betty Hodges; a sister, Mrs. Frances I, Parrish. Corbin, Ky.  Pallbearers will be Aubrey Harvey, Brown Harvey Jr., John Arrington, Tom Mulvey, Raymond Pitts, W.T. Bowers, and Richard Mehigan Sr.
