MYRTLE BRODIE ALLEN
AUGUST 5, 1979
Myrle Brodie Allen, Route 1, died Sunday at Memorial hospital after a short illness.
Services will be at 1 pm Thursday at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Jerkins officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Odie and Sallie Fletcher Brodie. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse E. Allen; two stepsons. William Allen, Clarksvllle and Roy Allen, Vancouver, British Columbia; three brothers, Bill Brodie. and Bumey Brodie, Indianapolis Ind and Lee Brodie Florida; three sisters. Margie Brewer, Mable Broadle and Mollie Dixon, Indianapolis, and two grandchildren.
Foston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
