Pvt. Murr's Body To Be Returned

GREENBACK, June 16 -- The body of Pvt. Allen A. Murr will arrive at Greenback from Atlanta Thursday at 3:40 p.m.   This will be the return of Greenback's first war dead.

Private Murr was a graduate of Greenback High School and was killed in service on Siapan July 12, 1944.

Greenback ex-service men will serve as pallbearers and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will have a part in the funeral services.

The body will be taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Murr, and funeral sercices will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Trigonia.

Services will be conducted by Reb. W.M. Bull, pastor of Trigonia M.E. Church.
