Photo possibly taken in the early 1890s in the Sweetwater area.

Sam born 1883.
Will born 1879.
George born 1886.
James Walter born 1877.

James and Sam were both living in Texas in 1900,
and James was married in December of that year.

Some of this family is buried in the Christinburg Church Cemetery.

The teacher in the photo is possibly named Martha. Her last name is something like McCarl. She was supposed to be a teacher at a school the the Patterson children attended, but am unsure if this is that school. Another photo of this Martha is below.
