Thirteen children of William Isaac Marshall, b 23 Jun 1865 Tellico Plain, Monroe County, TN d 17 Mar 1935 Runge, Karnes County, TX. William was the son of Richard Spencer Marshall b 8 Dec 1837 Tellico Plains, Monroe County, TN d 26 Jan 1901 Karnes County, TX and his wife Sarah Caroline Blanton b 8 Dec 1841 Monroe County, TN d 12 Mar 1914 Karnes County, TX.

Three of my Grandmother’s brothers were Methodist Ministers. My Grandmother was a school teacher and two brothers and one sister were also school teachers. This family all was born and lived in Texas, but heard of Tellico Plains, TN.

William Isaac Marshall had two sisters that married the two Hunt boys from Monroe County, TN that arrived in Travis County, TX before the family as well as other Monroe County, TN families that moved to Karnes County, about 1898-1900.
