William Isaac Marshall

William Isaac Marshall, b 23 Jun 1865 Tellico Plain, Monroe County, TN d 17 Mar 1935 Runge, Karnes County, TX. He was the son of Richard Spencer Marshall b 8 Dec 1837 Tellico Plains, Monroe County, TN d 26 Jan 1901 Karnes County, TX and his wife Sarah Caroline Blanton b 8 Dec 1841 Monroe County, TN d 12 Mar 1914 Karnes County, TX.

William, or Bill as he was known, married Carrie Tabb on 20 Jun 1886 in Webberville, Travis County, TX. Bill and Carrie were the parents of 14 children. See other photo of 13 of those children.

The photo was taken about 1934 on my Grandpa and Grandma Knight’s farm. Grandma Knight was Dorothy Lee (Marshall) Knight, daughter of Bill Marshall.

W. I. Marshall grew up in Monroe County, TN and came to Travis County, TX in December, 1881 when he was 16 years old.
