A member of the House of Representatives at the time of his death from his adopted county, Monroe, Tn.  He was an honored son of his State, NC, having served in both branches  of the Legislature.  A Colonel in the Cofederate State Army, he won distinction in arms, etc. His brother D.L. Love.
