Rebecca Ann "Becky" Hurley married William Washington Morse. She was the dau. of John R. Hurley and Martha Ann Arnold Hurley. Sarah Ellen Hurley married John William Thompson (J.W.T.) Derryberry. She was the dau. of John R. Hurley and Martha Ann Arnold Hurley. Martha Josephine "Josie" Hurley married Burton Paysinger.  She was the dau. of John R. Hurley and Martha Ann Arnold Hurley.
Tempie Louvenia "Ludie" Hurley, married William Springer.  She was the dau. of John R. Hurley and Martha Ann Arnold Hurley. Cynthia Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hurley (married John Hamm). She was the dau. of John R. Hurley and Martha Ann Arnold Hurley.

Jake Moses Eaker (1872-1923) and his wife, Willie Annie Parrish Lowery (died 1950). Jake was the son of Daniel Wesley Eaker and Martha Ferrill. Willie's first husband of Oscar Lowery.  She was raised by a family by the name of White and went by White instead of Parrish.

Lieutenant-General Nathan Bedford Forrest
At the beginning of the War, Forrest, a citizen of Memphis, organized a cavalry force which he led at Fort Donelson and Shiloh.  In July, 1862, he captured a union garrison at Murfreesboro.  In 1864, he commanded the cavalry under Hood in the Tennessee campaign.  Many consider Forrest the greatest Confederate cavalryman.

Mary Jane "Polly" Barnhill was born in McNairy County and died in Louisiana.  b.  1832  d. 1928.  The photo is a small tin type photo taken in 1840, about 3 years after this technology was invented. She was the daughter of William Hodge Barnhill and Sydney Hardwick. Archie Randolph Hurley and his young wife, Georgia Ellen Eaker Andrew Jackson Browder - Co. E 4th. TN infantry
