Gilchrist Cemetery is in the Gilchrist Community. I do not when this Cemetery was established, but the early grave that is marked is 1901. This is a small cemetery with only 16 grave marked.

To get to Gilchrist Cemetery take Hwy. 224 S off of Hwy 64 outside of Adamsville TN. Go 1.2 mile on Hwy. 224.Hwy 224 is also known as Gilchrist Stantonville Road. Hwy. 224 will turn back to the right, but there is a road that is straight across from Hwy 224 called Mt. Sharon Road, go 0.2 miles on it and cemetery is on the left.

I transcribe this cemetery in March 2007 using my digital camera. For more information Contact Carrol Heath at gcheath@centurytelnet
