Jacob Wammacks Will Recorded
I Jacob Wammack of the county of McMinn State of Tennessee do make
this my "last" will and testament hereby revoking all other "wills"
at any time made. 1st I will my body to the ...... and dust and
soul to God
who gave it ...... . I also direct my funeral expenses
all "just" debts be paid as soon after my death as "possible" out
moneys I may die "possessed" of ....... come into the hands
of my executors.
(Secondly) ...... where as on the tenth day of October one thousand
hundred & forty five\ a family of negros ...... I rasied was
divided among my "children" and all sworn to stand to the valuation
said valuation amounted to two thousand ...... hundred & eighty
dollars and fifty cents for each one of my heirs two hundred and
dollars & fifty cents a piece for I had at "the" time in the
nine heirs and they "had" all received their above named share
valuation was made by James Lillard, William Lill"ard" and
oath to do justice between my children. ....... Family of negros
my heirs. ...... will from their aunt Testimony Wills t..... Mother
& heirs of
her body and they ...... got them or their value according to .......
of said Will. So in addition to .... my beloved daughter Dessy Moore
...... received. I will and bequeath to ....... five
dollars out of any moneys I may "possessed" of,
Thirdly, I give and bequeath ...... my children Jacob Wammack Junior,
Wammack, Daniel Wammack,Susan Rivers, Mary Powel, Sarah Elder &
all my personal property such as horses, cows, sheep, hogs, household
kitchen furniture to be equally divided amongest them as ......
is about all I
possess as I have sold and divided my land away Of my negro woman
