WYATT

Seeking any information WILLIAM WYATT and his frist wife ANN MCKEEHAN. They had two known sons John Robert Wyatt and James Wyatt. William was suppose to be ca 104 years when he was killed by a falling tree. He was born ca 1777, died ca 1883.

BROWN, SPENCER, CASTEEL

Searching for parents of Benjamin Brown, b abt 1807 McMinn County, Tennessee, married Elizabeth Spencer b. abt 1802 in South Carolina. Moved to Illinois about 1844. His son Hiram James Brown married Elizabeth Casteel and moved to Fulton County, Illinois where he died 6 Aug 1881.

I am searching for any information on the family of John MCDOWELL and wife Elizabeth (MORROW) MCDOWELL of McMinn and Meigs Co. TN. John MCDOWELL was a land speculator from Buncombe/Haywood Co., NC who removed to Rhea/McMinn/Meigs Co., in Tennessee to the former Cherokee lands there about 1825. John MCDOWELL (b. 1774) died Nov. 1835 in McMinn Co., TN. John and wife Elizabeth had the following children: Esther MCDOWELL SEABORN(b. 1800 NC),Isaac M. (b. 1801 NC), John Jr. (b. 1805), Sarah Eleanor MCDOWELL SMART (b. 1812), and William MCDOWELL (b. abt 1816). Related families include: SHELTON, WALL, TEMPLETON, SEABORN, SMART, LUTTRELL, MORROW, and other MCDOWELL families of TN and NC.

DIXON

TRIM, ERWIN

I am looking for any information regarding a Phebe(Pheobe) Rilla TRIM and Isaac Newton ERWIN. Phebe's father, Anderson TRIM also lived in McMinn County for a while. Phebe and Isaac were married and moved to Texas(I think) Anyway, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Searching for parents of BENJAMIN BROWN (abt.1807-?), w. ELIZABETH SPENCER (abt 1802-?). 1850 Illinois census says he was born in TN and Elizabeth was born in SC. Parents of Nancy born in TN, Hiram James born in TN, William Alfred born in TN. Think his grandfather was 1832 pensioner Benjamin Brown but can't make a connection. Also looking for wife and children of pensioner Benjamin Brown. Have information on Illinois descendents will share.

CARTER

In 1879, William Jackson CARTER and his wife, Rebecca WOOD CARTER, sold 90 acres in McMinn Co. to Noah (Nook?) SHOEMAKER. At that time, Nancy MCCLURE lived on the land. Does anyone know of William and Rebecca or this transaction?
