BAKER, THOMAS JEFFERSON AND BAKER, JAMES ALLEN

These two Bakers are brothers with Thomas Jefferson Baker being my great grandfather. T.J. was born in 1838 and was either from the McMinnville area in Warren County or McMinn County. I think it may have been McMinn County because family oral traditions refer to Eastern Tennessee. T.J. supposedly served in the 9th or 10th Tennessee Cavalry during the Civil War. Any information about his family and especially his father and ancestors would be exceedingly hip. Thanks in advance.

SWAFFORD, FORD, LOGAN, HOGAN, HOWARD, ROBINS, LEE, RUDDICK, GENTRY, WILSON

The SWAFFORD, FORD, WILSON, RUDDICK surnames are Cherokee, the SWAFFORD's in Oklahoma have their card's. My grandmother, Agness Anna Mae FORD was full blood. My grandfather, who was James Monroe SWAFFORD, also was Cherokee. We have had no less than 10 different tribes marry into the above named familes. The SWAFFORD's came from McMinn Cty, and was probably the largest family there, what with all the brothers and their kids. Would appreciate any additional information on these surnames.
