CROCKETT

My grandfather was William Thomas CROCKETT, born August 17, 1873 in Mc Minn Co and moved to Runnels Co, Texas. His father and mother were Thomas Jefferson Crockett and Elvina (sp?) Taylor. His brothers were Horace, Charles, John, Reuel Blaine, Samuel, and Robert. His sisters were Emma and Magnolia. From census information, I believe Thomas Jefferson Crockett's Father was David Crockett born about 1810 in Tennessee and married to Susan. They also lived in McMinn County. I would like to get any information available on the CROCKETT's and related lines. Would also like to hear from family members.

WYATT, STUBBLEFIELD

I am interested in finding any info that might exist which confirms that the WYATT's or STUBBLEFIELD's were living in McMinn County especially around 1940's. Each family would have migrated from Grainger, Claiborne, or Hawkins. I know that my great-grandfather, Hardy R. Wyatt was considering purchasing a farm in McMinn County in 1940 and I thought maybe he had relatives there the reason he was considering moving from Grainger County.
