Odom--Thursday morning at 12:05 o'clock, March 24, 1927, at the home of his daughter Mrs. J.J. Kitchens, Columbia, Tenn.  John Odom, Sr., aged 90 years.  Survived by the following children:  Mrs. J.S. Shockley, Mrs. J.M. Griggs, Mrs. William B. Lish, Mrs. James Hofstetter, of this city, Mrs. J.J. Kitchens of Columbia, Tenn., John Odom of Louisville, Ky., William, Jesse, H. (Clay) and Joseph Odom of this city.  Remains are at the home of his son, Jesse Odom, No 1819 8th Avenue north, from which the funeral will take place this (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, March 25, 1927.  Services conducted by Rev. A.S. Allen, Interment Mt. Olivet cemetery.  The following grandsons will serve as pallbearers:  Will Shockley, Jess Shockley, John Shockley, Will Griggs, Douglass Odom and Henry Odom, Dorris , Karsch & Co., in charge.
