John A. FRAZIER, Called by Death
Was a prominent farmer of the Godwin section, eighty-seven years old
John A. FRAZIER, died at the home of his sister, Mr. W.J. Sellers on the
Theta Pike this morning at six o'clock. Mr. Frazier was eight-seven years
old, living most of his life in the Godwin section. He was held in high
esteem by all that knew him and his death is a source of grief to all.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs Will SELLERS, Will T. FRAZIER,
Charlie M. FRAZIER, S. F. FRAZIER, and Forgey FRAZIER, all of the Godwin section,
and Jno. Frazier of Columbia. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning
at 11 o'clock at Godwin's Chappel, conducted by Rev. Wait. Mr Frazier has been for
years a devout member of the Methodist church and had a large number of relatives
and friends in the county. He was a successful farmer and a good citizen.
The stewards of the church will act as pall bearers. Oakes and Nichols, funeral directors on charge.
