1.  He emigrated after 1807 to Maury County, Tennessee, USA.
2.  He emigrated in 1830 to Cedar County, Missouri, USA. A. J. Davisons Leger containing the records
     of A. J. Davisons family Thomas Kennedy Settled in Maury Co., TN. He moved from Kentucky: him
     and his wife they owned 1 horse, 1 feather bed, a few quilts and some other bed wear, one chopping
     ax, one rifle gun, a coffee pot, a skillet and frying pan. That constituted their outfit. My grandmother
     rode the horse and carried the household goods, my grandfather walked and carried the gun and axe.

                           Letter written by W. A. Waters, M. D. of Tulsa, Oklahoma to Sara Tom Brooks McKennon: "Please excuse
                           the horrible typing and rambling on - as usual, not a lot of time - but wanted to get off to you all of the info I
                           have. And, really looking forward to learning about Elizabeth and her 18 siblings!! No, I had no idea she was
                           from that large a family. Now, wondering if a pioneer doctor of Tulsa was related; probably, but maybe not
                           closely. A James Kennedy lives here now; his father the Tulsa pioneer, Dr. Samuel G. Kennedy was son of
                          Allen Kennedy who was son of Thomas Kennedy. Thomas Kennedy has siblings living in Ky (Elizabeth
                          Kennedy "born in Ky"). This Thomas Kennedy living in East Tenn (Harriman) then moved to Stockton, Mo in
                          1830. Hariman near Knoxville in Roane Co. This Kennedy family probably not closely related -- just curious."

     MO in 1830. Thomas Kennedy died 3 years after the move. His wife Polly Young Kennedy raised
     the family with the help of her brother John Young. The Gilmore family moved from Warren Co KY
     to MO in 1857. Matilda E. Gilmore married Allen B. Kennedy of Cedar Co. Aug 28, 1906
2.  She was involved in a court case on 16 Sep 1842 in Marshall County, Tennessee, USA. A suit was
     shown 16 Sept 1842 by John P. Hughs vs Mary Massey & others. Publication has been made for
     Polly, Elizabeth, Hannah, Mary, Thomas, John, Ada [also shown as Asa] and Allen Kenedy who are
     non residents of this state and heirs of Thomas Kenedy. [does not say deceased]. Also no residents of
     this state are John S., William L., Gidean B., Maria and Ephraim P. Massay.
3.  She was involved in a court case in 1843 in Marshall County, Tennessee, USA. Ephraim M. Massy
     Died before 18 Mar 1843 as shown in the suit of John P. Hughes vs Polly Kennedy. asa Kenedy &
     Allen Kenedy the widow & heirs of Thomas Kenedy decd., Mary Massy, John J. Massy, William L.
     Massy, Gideon B. Massy, Mary Massy, Maria Massy, Ephraim P. Massy and Eliphalat M. Massy
     widow and heirs of Ephraim M. Massy Decd. Hughes had purchased land from Ephraim M. Masy on
     23 July 1833. Title has not been conveyed. Polly Kenedy was the widow of Thomas Kenedy. His
     children were Elizabeth, Hannah, Mary, Thomas, Asa & Allen Kenedy.
