Matilda PATTERSON’s Will
 
I Matilda PATTERSON of Marshall County Tennessee being of sound & disposing mind but Feeble in Health
Do Make and publish this my will & Testament.  Here by revoking any others by me made.


1st        I will & desire that all my just debts & funeral Expenses be paid out of any Effects that I may die possessed of.


2           I will to my Grand children J H MULLEKNIE [?] & Mattnie[?] M. CARTER Each the sum of one dollar.


3           I will to my Great Grand child Nettie CARTER, my Bed & Bed clothing & Bedstead.


4           I will and desire that all my other personal property at my death shall be the property of my daughter Isabella B PATTERSON.


5           I will and desire that all the Balance of my Estate Real or Personal the land consisting of about Sixty Acres in Dist No 8 Marshall County Tennessee    shall Pass the title & be the property of my daughter Isabella B PATTERSON To be Rented out for Her use & Benefit But in the Event It should be necessary To sell said Lands for te support of my daughter Isabella B PATTERSON, Then I will that It be sold by my Executor & applied for the Benefit & use of said Isabella B PATTERSON or to pay Her Medical Bill or nurses or Burial Expenses or Board.
I hereby having confidence in the Integrety of Rufus R OGILVIE Appoint Him as my Executor to carry out this will & Hereby give & clothe him will full
Power & authority T sell any of my Estate Real or personal. To Execute deeds of conveyance To any & all Real Estate sold by Him To the purchasers.
And to do and perform any act necessary to carry out my will also to rent out the Lands Left by me & pay over To my Daughter Isabella B. PATTERSON until
it becomes necessary to sell same, I hereby Release my said Executor R R OGILVIE from Giving any Bond or securety as my Executor.
Witness my hand on the 7th day of May 1894.
