Will Book A. Pg 99-100:

 

In the name of God Amen.

I Sylvester Chun of the county of Marshall and state of Tennessee being in perfect mind & memory do make and ordain this my last will & testament in name and form following I give and bequeath to my wife Obediana the following property two beds and Bedsteds and the furniture that belongs to - - - - - and one mair and side saddle. It is also my will that the ballance of the state is equally divided between grandson William Chunn and my wife and that the above mentioned property be divided at my death. It is my will that all the household furniture belong to my wife her lifetime and then to be equally divided between my grandson William Chunn and my wife children - - - filing the two beds and bedsteds and furniture that is above mentioned. It is also my will that the tract of land where I now live on to belong to my wife her lifetime and at her death it is my will that my grandson Jarret S. Chunn have the land that I now live on - I have hear unto set my hand and seal it the 23 December 1840.  his
