Mrs. Nan Whitsett Obituary (1950)

 

     Mrs. Nan Whitsett, age 90, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Woods, at Belfast.

     Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Head Springs Church by the Rev. Fred Walker, minister, and Jim McCord.  Burial was in the cemetery there.

     Mrs. Whitsett, who would have been 91 had she lived until June, was one of Marshall County's oldest residents and enjoyed the love and esteem of many friends.

     Besides Mrs. Woods, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. B. Endsley, of Lewisburg.
