Jess Sewell Woodard Obituary

Lewisburg--Jess Sewell Woodward, 97, died Thursday evening at his home in the Palmetto Community.

     Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p. m. from the chapel of Bills and McGaugh Funeral home, conducted by Gilbert Shaffer.  Burial will be in the Palmetto Cemetery.

     He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sara Whitten and Mrs. Mai Beth Thompson, both of Nashville; one son, Paul H. Woodward of Lewisburg; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

Note:  The spelling of the Woodard/Woodward surname appears as "Woodard" in the heading of the obituary and "Woodward" in the body of the obituary.
