Note: This "Roderick" Berry is Reddick Hunter Berry, the ancestor of Ross Berry of Linden, Michigan. Nancy was Reddick's first wife. She died in 1843 and on Dec. 13, 1843 he married Catherine A. Allen in Gibson County. (Catherine is Ross Berry's ancestress). Reddick and his four daughters (by Nancy Piercy Berry) moved to Gibson County and resided in the Center-Salem Community near the town of Gadsden. In 1872 that area was incorporated into the new county of Crockett. Reddick and Catherine lived there the rest of their lives.
