I am currently researching my Grandparents, Lucille BUSBY, she was also related to the SPRINGERS. Lucille's Father's name was Paul
Jones BUSBY, mostly known as PJ BUSBY. Lucille BUSBY married Haggard COKER/COCKER, in Lawrenceburg, TN. I do not have the marriage date. But my Grandfather died in 1972 and my Grandmother died in 1985. I have info on my BUSBY line, but I am stumped wit

I am looking for information on the Robinson family. Their daughter Sarah Ida was orphaned as a baby due to their death. She was adopted
by John S. Wilson and wife. If any knows any thing about this family I need the information. I would like to know their names and where
they are buried. Ida was born in 1877. Her adoption records have been found but they do not list her parents. Only that they are dead. She
was adopted in Lawrence Co. My grand father listed her as being born in Centerville Hickman co. but since he did not know her adoptive
parents I do not know if this information is correct. I am sure some one has heard the story of her adoption and it has been passed down.

their children are found on the 1820 Lawrence Co TN census. They then
move to Hardin Co TN by 1830. Sarah "Sally" marries John D. Merchant
in 1822 Lawrence Co and move on to AL then TX.

My ancestor is Jonathan McMasters born 1819 NC and married Rebecca
Frances YANCEY born 1821. Rebecca's parents were Alfred Moore YANCEY
and Lucy Ann YANCEY. Jonathan's parents were John McMASTERS and
Charity FOUST McMASTERS. Jonathan was in Tishomingo County, MS with
his second wife Eliza POTEET in the early 1850's. He had with him his
two sons from his marriage with Rebecca who were David and Alexander
Uriah. What happened to Rebecca Frances? I have found her death date
to be 1885. Is this correct? If so, divorce? I would like to
correspond with any descendants.

Looking for information on ancestry of William Thomas Crook, son of
Marcellus Crook, Grandson of Zacharis V. CROOK . I am having a
difficult time finding any information about the father of Zacharis

i am searching for the WILSON family that adopted Ida Mae who was
born Sept. 16,1877 in Lawrenceburg,Tn. IDA MAE is my great
grandmother. She died on June 23,1961 at Cleveland,Ms. She married

Seeking information on William Washingham HOWARD, b. 1857, in
Lawrence Co., TN, m. Sarah Ann BURNS, b. 1857, Blount Co., AL. D.

I would like any information I might find on Mamie
(Richardson)Hardiman and Marvin Hardiman of Lawrence Co. They had
children by the name of J.R.Hardiman, Hollis Hardiman, Mary Hardiman,
Imogene Hardiman, Agnes Hardiman, Rose Nell Hardiman, they also had
four other children either born dead or died shortly there after.
Mamie Hardiman was a Richardson before marriage and had a brother
named Luther Richardson of Somertown, TN. Alot of the Hardimans and
Richardson are buried at Union Hill Cemetery in Loretto. Any
information you might have would be appreciated.

Searching for information on my grandmother's grandmother: One Mary
PALMORE, of Lawrence County, Tn; born most likely between 1854 and
1880. Have picture from eary twenties. My grandmother always
insisted her grandmother was Cherokee, and family pigmintation and
hair color has borne this out. Am particulararly interested in how a
full-blooded Chreokee happened to be in Lawrence Co., Tn in the
late 1800's. Is there any possibility of documenting this fact or
this simply another interesting family legend?

Isaac BRUMLEY b. Abt 1812 married Christian THOMAS Abt 1840 and had 3
children in TN before moving to Arkansas before 1850. An Isaac
Brumley appears in the 1840 Greene Co Census. I need his place and
date of marriage to Christian THOMAS. There was a Isaac BRUMLEY
marriage to Polly ARCHER in 1836 in Lawrence county. Are they the

Looking for info. on Burges BURKITT b 29 mar. 1791 d 15 Feb 1844.
Would like help wth birthdates etc of his children. He is buried at
Black Cemetary Lawrenceburg, Lawrence Co., TN. He was the son of
Lemuel BURKITT and Hannah BELL. He was married to Mary HARDIN in

Peter H. Montgomery born 29 July 1834 in Lawrence Co., TN. Married
Catherine McBee 5 Nov 1857 in Polk Co., Mo. Died 14 May 1918 in
Newton Co., MO.
I cannot find any family for Peter. I did find a William
C.Montgomery in Polk Co., Mo that lived just one mile from the family
of Catherine McBee. William was 33 in the 1850 Polk Co., Mo census.
He had also married a Susannah Cook in Lawrence Co., Tn on Sep 21,
1839. I feel he may have been a brother to my Peter Montgomery.

Looking for information about the family of Griffin MITCHELL (born
1804 TN) who resided in Lawrence County, Tennessee during the 1840
and 1850 census. Living with him in 1850 were Hannah MITCHELL and
children Mary A., William S., John G., James D., Thomas J., Sarah and
Robert. This family was living in Barry County, Missouri during the
1860 census. John G. MITCHELL (born 1834 TN) was my GG grandfather.
He married Elizabeth WOODS (born 1834 IL) sometime between 1850 and
1860 in Missouri. After his death, his wife married his younger
brother Robert MITCHELL (born 1844 TN).

G.G. Grandfather was W.R. SISK born Tn (have no date). He married

County on Sept. 12,1833 and married an Elizabeth Russell in Maury
