I would like to communicate with anyone who knows of or may be
researching Grinage ancestry. A number of Grinages relocated in Texas
in the mid 1800's who were born SOMEWHERE in Tennessee!
Joshua Grinage married Margaret Woodrum in 1867, Edmond Grinnage
married Nancy Bradberry in 1855 and Martha Grinnage married Thomas
Gates in 1848. Joshua, Edmond and Martha were born in TN as well as
most of their spouses according to censuses! All settled in Panola
County, TX. A number of Woodrum families lived 'next door'.
Thanks so much!

Are these two men from the same family. James CHAMBERS and Caroline

he was raised by his grandparents, Henry Clay and Mary Ann GREEN (who

14 or 15). They moved to Stewart County before 1910 with 5 of their
8 surving children and Joseph. If anyone has ANY information on

John Preston McAnally b.April 26, 1847 in Franklin County, Indiana
and died July 07, 1914 in Crowson Mills, Tennessee. John Preston and
I are connected at the individual William McAnally b. 1798 TN. With
the discovery that John Preston McAnally lived and died in Lawrence
County we are surmising that there is a connection to McAnally line
through John and Anna Stone McAnally early residents of Lawrence
County (ca 1817). John Preston McAnally lived all of his life in
Franklin and Henry Counties of Indiana and was married the second
time in that state in 1902. We do not know when he moved to TN, it
could have been anytime after the second marriage because he does not
appear on any 1910 census. The next record we have is the death
notice and obit that appears in the July issues of the Lawrence
Democrat. Would appreciate any info on John and/or the other McAnally
families that lived in the Crowson Mill area during the period
1902-1914.
