Finis Eugene Adams, 71, residential electrician of Halls, died Wednesday, March 28, in Jackson. Services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 31, at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery. He attended the Poplar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134, and a member of the Dyersburg Senior Circle. Mr. Adams, husband of Judith A. Adams, leaves four daughters, Debbie Quinnett of McHenry, Ill., Tammy Adams of Harvard, Ill., Judy Freeze of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Jenny Stell of Woodstock, Ill.; two sons, Gary Adams of Carpentersville, Ill., and Greg Adams of Palatine, Ill., 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Carrie Becton
Mrs. R. D. Becton Died Wednesday Night. Mrs. Carrie Becton, civic and church leader of the Poplar Grove community, died at her home Wednesday night. She was 65. The wife of R. D. (Bob) BECTON, farmer and landowner, she was born in Lauderdale County and spent her life here. She was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She leaves her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ellis SASSER, Halls; a sister, Mrs. Ellie BALLINGER, Maury City. Funeral services were Thursday at Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
