Please note that Miss Martindale was Caucasian. There is an Oak Grove Church in Tiption County TN, but the church that she atteded was in Henning County so very well she could be buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lauderdale County. Minnie was single and her parents were D. W. and Susan Martindale. She was born in Tennessee.

***A Peep into The Past - - November 30, 1900 - Miss Minnie Martindale died November 19 after a prolonged illness. She was a consistent member of Salem Baptist Church. She was laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery.
