BRADLEY, JAMES
My ggg-grandfather was James Bradley. He married Catherine Smithpeters in 1802. James died in 1859. My uncle said before Watauga Lake filled up for the first time, there was a log cabin out from what is now Midway Boat dock. This cabin was still standing when the lake covered it. This cabin and property at the time the lake covered it was deeded to a James P. Cable. From what I know, he came into possession from marrying into the Bradley family. James and Catherine Bradley are said to have lived in the cabin at one time. I am looking for photographs and information on this cabin.
