AMMONS

I am searching for Henry Ammons and his heirs who moved to Humphrey County during the late 1830's. He formally lived in Hickman County and was married first to Christiana Totty and later to his widowed sister in law, Naomi Whitson Totty (married to Christiana's brother initially). Christiana died ca. 1835, Henry died ca 1838. Woulld like to get information on his family (children0. Evidence points toward my great great grandfather, John Andrew Ammons being a son of this marriage, born ca 1820. The 1830 census indicates a total of four children at that time. Please help if you can. I will be delighted to share with you anything I have on the Ammons Family and have some information on the Totty Family (although most of this Totty info I have is already well documented).
