James Monroe and Sarah Ardecie Curtis Hatcher

I think the couple in the center is James Monroe and Sarah Ardecie Curtis Hatcher.  This is one of the ones with no identification on the back.  The man in the center does bare some resemblance to the other picture I have of James Monroe Hatcher.  Any info that anyone might
have would be welcomed.

Smith

The 3rd picture is also a bit of a mystery.  The writing on the back is faded to the point of being illegible.  However, my great-uncle identified a
couple of the people for my mom several years ago.  The men on the front row are Sam Smith and George Smith.  Sam is holding the child, her name is Dallas. What little I can read on the back identifies the people as Uncle George Smith and Aunt Georgia Smith (I assume she is the lady standing to the right of George).  I am assuming that Sam and George are the sons of Eli and Mary Jane Curtis Smith.  If that is correct, Georgia would be the daughter of Gallant Frances and Mary Ann Gray Wheeler.
