John William Christian Hesse was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Jan. 17 1854. He died at Greenbriar, Tenn. on July 19, 1932.


Clarence Frank Hesse "Uncle Frank", this photo was taken in 1918 while Frank was in the Army. The war ended before he was shipped out to Europe.
