We the undersigned freeholders of Henderson Co. after being duly 
sworn have proceeded to set apart to Mrs. R.E. Pearson wife of 
John Pearson, decd, so much of the crop and provisions on hand 
as will be sufficient in our opinion to support her and her family 
one year from the death of her said husband.
We set apart to her for said purpose the following articles. "To mit"

Two bed & bed steads and all necessary clothing for same, 
all table ware on hand, 
one cooking stove and all utensils on hand, 
all books on hand including Bible, 
Three carpets and hall matting, 
All kitchen furniture on hand including dining table and sideboard, 
all table clothes on hand, 
all chairs on hand, 
One bole and pitcher, 
one wash kettle, 
two wash tubs and one churn, 
One bureau, 
one wash stand and center table, 
3 string red pepper, 
one dresser, 
one clock, 
three lamps, 
one sawing machine, 
7 pictures or all pictures on hand, 
200# sugar, 
50# coffee, 
all fruit on hand canned or dried, 
Sofa lounge, 
two picture easels, 
all home made soaps on hand, 
one two horse wagon, 
one set of harnesses for same, 
one hay rake, 
1/2 interest in mawrr, 
one two and two one horse plows, 
two shovel plows, 
2 double shovels, 
corn planter, 
two sets of plow gears, 
two milk cows and calves, 
Farm Bell, 
One horse and mare, 
1000# pork and ten stock hogs, 
all poultry on hand, 
40 bu wheat, 
all oats on hand, 
50# lard, 
all hay and fodder on hand, 
one cotton scraper, 
one hay fork, 
two cotton _____, 
one barrel salt, 
one grubing hoe, 
one cutting knife, 
all bees on hand, 
1000# beef, 
one grind stone, 
one man and woman saddle, 
two bridles, 
one chopping ax, 
two iron wedges,, 
all cotton seeds on hand, 
$150.00 cash, 
Buggy and Harness.
