Worley Cemetery

The Worley Cemetery is three miles northeast of Chattanooga. Follow highway # 58 to Wilcox Boulevard in Avondale through the Tunnel. The land for the cemetery was given by Mrs Worley in 1860 for the benefit of people who were unable to buy graves. She died and was buried there in 1860. There are about seventy five unmarked graves.
