	HAUN PRIVATE CEMETERY

LOCATION: IN SOUTHEAST HAMBLEN COUNTY. TURN EAST ON COURTNEY ROAD AT 
INTERSECTION OF WARRENSBURG ROAD AND COURTNEY. TRAVEL TO INTERSECTION 
OF EARLY ROAD (FORMERLY NAMED COURTNEY). TURN RIGHT (SOUTH). THE ROAD 
IS A NARROW, ONE-WAY PRIVATE ROAD. DRIVE TO END. THE OLD HAUN HOME, 
REMODELED, IS AT END OF ROAD. 
THE CEMETERY IS ON A KNOLL ABOUT 200 FEET FROM END OF ROAD. NO LEGIBLE 
TOMBSTONES. ONLY BROKEN PIECES OF SLATE OR NATIVE ROCKS ARE HERE. 
CATTLE HAVE BEEN PERMITTED TO GRAZE IN THIS AREA.
