I am looking for information pertaining to the parents of Susanne"Sallie" Tennesee BROWN (born abt 1853) in Tennessee. The 1880Federal census records Sallie's father as having been from NorthCarolina and her mother as having been from Tennessee (but who knowsif this is correct). Family stories tell that Sallie was a Civil Warnurse who was caring for William Henry Street's injuries . . . .that's how they met. She and William Henry Street married about1872. Their children include: Henry Molten Street b:1873, AlbertBrown Street b:1874 (my maternal grand-father), Charlie Calvin Streetb:1876, Ernest Rice Street b:1880, Jennie Street b:1882 and FlemnCayce Street b:1887. Both William Henry and Sallie are laid to restin the little cemetery up above Jewel Cave U.S. 70, DicksonTennessee. Their graves are marked only with lime stone rocks. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for the location of the Turnbull Baptist Church which isknown to have existed in Dickson County at least until after theCivil War. I am told the church no longer exists, but it did have anattached cemetery and I have records showing that ancestors of minewere buried there. Thanks for your help.

Marshall CARVER, who died of nose bleed; date and place unknown. Brother to Robert William CARVER (1820-1896) who married Sarah AnnRussell. RWC said to have left Duck River area about 1837 (age17)and moved south. Sarah was part Indian (1825-1900); parentsunknown, place of birth unknown. They lived in Livingston Parish, LAprior to moving to Vernon Parish where they are buried.

HIGGS
I am looking for other HIGGS relatives that trace back to a SanfordHIGGS in Dickson County abt 1860. He supposedly was married to aRebecca ETHERIDGE(sp) in 1855. He may have been incarcerated due toarson and or murder. He shows up in Obion County in 1870 with atleast two children, one is Martha Elizabeth, and the other is Sanfordborn in 1867, this family is then seen in 1885 in Randolph Co.Arkansas. Looking for information on a couple. a Jack & Dora SPEIGHT who livedin the city of Stayton in 1890. They raised a boy named John Arthuras their own, who died in 1942 in an auto accident. John Arthur was the son of my g grandfather, A.F. Speight & his first wife MediaJones. Jack & Dora raised John Arthur after Media's death around1890.When A.F. remarried, John Arthur stayed with "Uncle Jack & Aunt Dora"and was raised by them. An oldbiography written by my great uncle said William settled on the "Westside of the Harpeth River around 1800". He had a son, Albert S. born around 1800. Any information concerning William Riley BAGGETT b.1839 married toSarah Elizabeth WOOLEY (WORLEY)b.1852. I am trying to find any information on Ellen HOLT who married S. J.A. WELLS in Dickson Co on Dec. 24, 1859 and Martha Elizabeth HOLT whomarried Aaron JAMES about 1850.
