I W. H. Merritt of the 16th District of DeKalb County, Tenn. being of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament. First, I want all my just debts paid and my funeral expenses paid. Then I want my wife, Sarah F. Merritt, to have control of my farm and control it as though I do my self and be her own executor with out bond as long as she lives, remains my widow and have control of all the sheets after enough is sold to pay expenses and debts. After her death I want each o f my nine heirs to share equally of what remains, to divide or sell what they think best and my request is that they be no lawing over my property. This March the 9th, 1911.
