J. B. Cantrell of Dibrell born in Dekalb County he died of typhoid on Tuesday at age 45. Burial Webb Cemetery. Brother in law H. B. Evans of Warren County.

John R. West died at Viola 7th June 1904. He was born Alexandria, Dekalb County 27 October 1858 and married Julia E. Barry on 8 November 1877. He joined the Christian church 1876. His wife died 1892. He married Miss Annie Etter on 4 June 1893.

Mrs. T. E. West born 10 January 1831 died 26 February 1908 at the home of her daughter Mrs. H. L. Foutch on Chancery Street. Burial in Smithville. A member of the Christian Church. Children: L. E. West; S. T. West; Mrs. H. L. Foutch; Mrs. T. M. Eaton; Miss Neely West.

W. H. West a young man from Dekalb County was killed at Rock Island last Tuesday while working on the railroad bridge there.
