my Page family ancestors were farmers in Cobb, Taylor and Spencer
hollows. Barnabas' farm was in Cobb and Taylor Hollow. Barnabas' son
Andrew inherited land at the bottom of Spencer Hollow, possibly on
both sides of Indian Creek at the mouth of Camp Branch. Andrew's son
Stephen Alexander had a farm in Spencer Hollow between Andrew's and
Barnabas' farms. There are no roads to these areas. They are on
private property. The closest I have come is a dead-end road on the
right off Dale Ridge Road (traveling north). I don't know the name of
this road but is in the area of Chapman Hollow Road. There is
a private road leading down the hollow to Barnabas' and Alex's
farms. This road used to lead to Indian Creek, Hick's and Cave
Springs' communities. I have a good friend and distant relative who
has farmed these hollows and has helped me with the geography of
Indian Creek. I would like to correspond with related Page families
who have information about this area. I would love to share info.
