Searching for information on the ancestors/descendants of Walter and
Prudence (her last name unknown) BOTTS. Walter and Prudence BOTTS
were born around 1800 in NC, settled in Dekalb Co., TN. Their eldest
daughter, Nancy A. BOTTS (b. 1830 in NC) married Isaac William "Ike"
HUTCHINSON (b. 1/1828 in TN) in Dekalb Co., TN in 1852. The couple
lived in Dekalb Co. most of their life and reared their seven
children there: Eliza Jane, Wm. C., Chas. "Bud", Canzada "Can",
John, Elzie, and Faithy HUTCHINSON. In the 1900 census, "Ike" was
found living with one of his children in Sumner Co., TN. Any help is

Looking for Mary E. Allen born about 1834 and Susanna Allen born
about 1835. They were the children of John Wesley Allen and Sarah
Kettle. The rest of the family moved to Butler County, KY between
the 1850 and 1860 Census but I believe Mary and Susanna to have
already married in or around DeKalb County and they stayed there. I
need marriage license and last names of husbands. Mary and
Susannah's siblings are: Andrew M., Sarah Jane, John Wesley II,
Rachel Louise, Josephine, Amanda E., Yance Malone, David and Gilbert.
They lived in the Alexandria, Tn area.

I am searching for info on my Great Grandfather-William Jefferson
Pinegar. He was born in 1819 to John PINEGAR & his 1st wife Mary
KERR. He served in the Civil War as a Union soldier in Illinois
(18th Infantry). He and his family returned to DeKalb Co., TN in the
1870's. He died in 1896 in Falls Creek. Does anyone know where he is

Looking for any information on William GRACEY/GRACY who died in
Tennessee in 1827 or 1827. He was an immigrant from Ireland and
arrived in the states with several children, Hugh, John, Mary, and
James but there may have been others. I do not know who his first
wife was but his second wife was Susannah (Unk) widow of David H.

I am looking for information on William Wingate TRUITT and his wife
Tabitha. I have that William Wingate was born about 1765 in Maryland
(probably Worcester Co.), married Tabitha about 1790 in Worcester
Co., MD, and died in 1815 in Liberty, Smith Co., TN. Tabitha was
born in 1769 in S. Carolina and died after 1843 in DeKalb Co., TN.
Their son, John Wingate, married Elizabeth J. Robinson from Smith
Co., TN, 19 Dec. 1825, probably in Smith/DeKalb Co, and moved away
about 1836, eventially arriving in Titus Co., TX. What I would
especially like to know is when William Wingate and Tabitha died and
where they are buried. I have found where some Truitts belonged to
Salem Baptist Church in Liberty; I don't know if "my" family did. If
anyone has any kind of information about them please let me know.

Looking for information on Thomas Jefferson Smith's burial sight. He
was born in 1806 and lived in the Silver Point area which became
Putnam County. He married Matilda Puckett who was the daughter of
John Puckett, a Rev soldier. John Puckett's grave was moved to Mt.
Holly cemetery when Center Hill Lake was built. Perhaps Thomas's
grave was covered by the waters. Does anyone know?

I am looking for information on George CROOK II, born before 1800.
Supposedly he married Sally ETHERIDGE and they had a son, John CROOK.
Does anyone know who John CROOK married? I have records showing that
hia wife was Nella (maiden name unknown).

Alex S. Hill b. abt June 1879,his father is listed as Isaac HILL.
1898 my grandfather was in Dekalb,Co (Temperance Hall),he would have
been abt 19.i have hit a brick wall looking for this family.no name

James Knox WOODSIDE, wife's name unknw. Children were James, John,
Robert, Shield, Callie and Hattie. Believe James Knox WOODSIDE was
b.in DeKalb County. James "Jim" WOODSIDE was my grandfather and lived
in Nashville. His children were Grace,John,James,twins Joseph and
Robert, Mary,Martha,and Margaret. Any help will be appreciated.

Looking for info. on James Hubert WOODSIDE, believe his father name
to be John Knox WOODSIDE. Siblings John, Robert,Hattie,Callie, and
Schiel(?). Probably of Dowelltown or Liberty area.
