I am searching for information on Guy WHALEN born in Tennessee about
1934. He was in the military, Air force, I believe, and was either
stationed in or around Memphis or was on leave there in September
1953 when he was about 20 years old. If this gent is living, he would
be about 70 years old. He has proven to be my impenetrable brick
wall. If you have information on him or his descendants, please,
contact me. A big thank you from a frustrated genealogist!

Ebenezer Burton married Nancy Hall in Delaware March 6, 1801. They
moved to Tennessee probably after that date. They had four children:
Samuel M. Burton (dob 1805), Nancy Elizabeth Burton, John L. Burton,
and Thomas Daniel Burton (dob 2/3/1814, Smith County, Tennessee).
Ebenezer Burton died in Dekalb County, Tennessee in 1825. Sometime
after his death, the family moved to Howell County, Missouri. I
would appreciate hearing from anyone who has infomation on this
family.
