My main two lines are Ferguson and Webb, with collateral lines listed above. Any information on these families are of great interest to me.They all lived in the Dekalb and surrounding areas. Help is greatly appreciated and I have info to share. Thank you.

Found in 1860 DeKalb Co, Tn census: Carroll Emory 24, Maria 25, John
4, Rosanna 2, and Thomas 8/12. All born in TN. Children are found in
1870 DeKalb Co with Hester Grammor 63 (NC), Manerva Capshaw 40 (TN),
and Evan W. Capshaw 21 (TN). Carroll and Maria not found in 1870.
Only other Emory in 1870 DeKalb census is David Emory 20, Ephelda 21,
Franklin A. 4, and Josephine Martin 8 living with them. Does anybody
know anything about these Emorys?

Need info on WILLIAM ELDER CULVAHOUSE 1859-1914 and descendants. Also

Moses FLETCHER b. abt. 1815 m. Elizabeth FOSTER. Listed in DeKalb Co.
TN census of 1850; in 1840 shown as Moses FLUCHER. Children were:
John L., James R., Elizabeth, Moses Jr., Sinai A., Louisa N. ,
Thomas, William, Joel J. I am trying to locate the parents of Moses
as well as any relatives; also, exact birth dates and burial place.

My grandfather is JAMES M. HERRIN OR HERRING - His mother was SARAH
VICKERS. My Grandfather died in 1948 or 49. I never knew him as he

Looking for any information on family of John DANIEL b 1769 and/or
other DANIEL families that settled in the area of the headwaters of
the East Fork Stones River and Mountain Creek. This would be the
Shorter Mountain area. Would have settled sometime after 1788 and
lived in the area till 1850s. John had 6 children but only son Peter
has shown up. Daughters may have married into the Parris and Parsley
families. Any information on this family, will be greatly
appreciated.

James GARRISON, born ca. 1799 in VA was an early settler on Hickman's
Creek in Smith County, TN. James died in December of 1857 in that
county. He is listed in the 1850 Smith Co. census with daughters:
Mary, Tabitha Jane, Nancy, and Elizabeth. A son, Wilson P. GARRISON
(b. 13 March 1824) and family were living in the next household.
Apparently James's wife died between 1840 and 1850. I have a Wilson
Co., TN, Trust Deed which states that Josiah BAIRD (Sr.?) was Wilson
P. GARRISON's grandfather. Does anyone know which one of Josiah
BAIRD's daughters married James GARRISON of Smith County? I am also
trying to find the connection between James and the Benjamin GARRISON
of Smith and DeKalb Counties. Together they purchased land from
James COATS on Hickman's Creek in Smith County, 11 Aug. 1817.

Looking for information on a Thomas or Thomas William YOUNG.
According to the 1870 and 1880 census of Laurel Co KY, he was born
around 1843. Further information suggests he may have been from TN
or NC originally. I did find on the LDS site a Thomas YOUNG son of
Aaron Young and Ann D. Unknown, born 1843 in Dekalb Co TN. Thomas
Young married twice, once to Sarah/Mary Arthur in 1866 in Laurel Co
KY, his children were Joseph William, Sarah Catharine, Mollie and
Margaret Young. He married 1876 in Laurel Co KY to Mary Moore, their
children were Hiram and John Young. Any information on this family
is greatly appreciated.

Could someone tell me if Louis Paskell BENNETT of DeKalb County, born
approx. 1842 and died around Oct. 24, 1924 is the same person as
Lewis (Louis) P.H. BENNETT found during the same time period in
DeKalb County - Lewis P.H. Bennett was a son of Benjamin BENNETT and
Eliza Ann HAYS. Other children of Benjamin and Eliza were Wilson H.,

Does anyone have a list of the cemeteries in Dekalb, Warren and
Grundy Counties. I plan a trip to TN soon and would like to visit
some cemeteries to try to find the graves of my ggrandfather, Barney
B. TAYLOR and my gggrandmother, Elizabeth GREEN WHITMAN and Jeremiah
WHITMAN. Location and directions would also be helpful, but not
