Cumberland County,
Tennessee Genealogy

Cumberland County is located on the line
dividing Middle and East Tennessee, two of the state's three "grand divisions."
Cumberland County was formed on November 16, 1855 from portions of several surrounding
counties. Crossville, the county seat, was incorporated in 1901.
