Cocke County, TNGenWeb
1890 Union Veterans Schedule

Note:  District 13 included the area around Hartford, Cocke County, from the North Carolina-Tennessee state line north.  It encompassed the present-day areas east and west of Interstate Highway 40 from the state line about five miles north.  Hall’s Top Mountain is included in this district.

Some names on the two pages enumerating this district were crossed out.  Sources discussing this veteran's census indicate that crossed out names were Confederate veterans or other non-veterans who were not supposed to be enumerated by this census.  I have not transcribed the names of the men whose names were crossed out.
